      <image:title>SERVICES - SERVICES</image:title>
<image:caption>Our licensed home combines the qualities of short-term shelter and longer-term group care in one program to offer emergency and extended care and services. Shelter care, which is defined as care for 30 days or less, emphasizes safety and crisis intervention. Group care placement of more than 30 days addresses crisis and maintains safety, while moving to a transitional process that addresses longer-term goals and extended behavior stabilization. Our Approach Work to resolve the crisis that caused the youth’s previous setting to break down Offer a strength-based approach that helps young people make progress in their lives Help maintain the youth’s relationship to their family Locate in a neighborhood that allows us to take advantage of available resources in that community Provide a structured daily program that awards privileges based upon appropriate behavior and teaches social skills, encourages positive behavior and advocates personal responsibility Give access to community services, including education, employment, recreation, culture, therapy and health care Ensure safety for the youth and those around them Provide individual counseling and group sessions that focus on skill development and communication Expand the youth’s case plan when the youth transfers or is placed directly into longer-term care Have a full-time Program Director who’s responsible for leading and supporting the program and staff Have a caring, committed, well-trained and talented line staff who work in a 1:4 staff-to-youth ration with 24-hour awake supervision Provide Program Manager who manages the day-to-day functioning of the home to ensure a home-like environment</image:caption>

      <image:title>HOME - HISTORY</image:title>
<image:caption>HEALING PATHWAYS TRANSITIONAL HOMES, INC. Is a non-profit 501c3 located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Our aim is to help young men between the ages: 7-21; with developmental, physical, and mental disabilities; social disadvantages, emotional trauma, and financial encumbrances. Many of these young men come from very unbalanced, and sometimes even callous environments. Society has given up on them, they are cast out, and they live a life of despondency. Our Group Home provides therapy, 24-Hour care, supervision, and support to these children in a very welcoming setting. We here at Healing Pathways see the urgency to help children lost in these struggling environments and we want to help. We want to bring our talents, education, spirituality and loving hearts to the table and say with open arms. “We are here! We see you in pain! And you are no longer alone! So, in August of 2019 we set out to purchase a home, renovate the space, become licensed and insured by the state of Ohio, and work within the system to add a little light in a very dark place. We would love your support! If you would like to volunteer, mentor, provide a teachable moment, give a tangible item, make a cash donation, or simply just tell a friend about us.</image:caption>
