No parent ever wants to imagine having to place their child in a group home. But sometimes, a residential setting is the best place for a troubled child who needs intensive help.
OUR Group home provides therapy, 24-hour supervision and support to troubled children in a home-like setting. Unlike large residential treatment facilities or psychiatric hospitals, our group home serves a small number of children. They reside in a family-like setting with well trained staff.

HEALING PATHWAYS TRANSITIONAL HOMES, INC.
Is a non-profit 501c3 located in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Our aim is to help young men between the ages: 8-21; with mental, physical, social, emotional, and financial handicaps. Many of these young men come from very unstable, and sometimes even violent environments. Society has given up on them, they are cast out, and they live a life of hopelessness.
We here at Healing Pathways see the urgency to help children lost in these hopeless environments and we want to help. We want to bring our talents, education, spirituality and loving hearts to the table and say with open arms. “We are here! We see you in pain! And we want to help you!
So in August of 2019 we set out to purchase a home, renovate the space, become licensed and insured by the state of Ohio, and work within the system to add a little light in a very dark place.

Continuing Education Licensing
Licensed by ODJFS, and working towards our accreditation by CARF for AOD and MH treatment, counseling services. Our overarching goal is the safety and growth of our clients.
What We Provide
The treatment provided in our group home focuses primarily on improving self-esteem, teaching new skills and holding children accountable for their behavior.
Our group home also offers specialized treatment for specific issues, like autism, substance abuse, or inappropriate sexual behavior. Most of our programs include:

Family therapy
Group therapy
Individual therapy
Individualized behavior programs

If the goal is for a child to return home, family involvement is critical. Participation in therapy and multi-family groups is essential to helping the family be prepared for a teen's return home.
